Batting Cages

Practice Guidelines:

• Batting Cages: Coaches may schedule a time in our batting cage beginning the Wednesday before the week they wish to make the reservation by emailing sports@carync.gov. Each new week begins Monday. Emails sent prior to Wednesday seeking cage time for the following week will not be acted upon.

• Max of 1 Batting Cage Per Week: Teams may only reserve 1 batting cage time slot per week.

• Cage Confirmation: Please print out or have available a copy of your cage reservation when using the cages.

• Location: The Batting Cages are located behind the Center Field Fence at Bond Park Field #3.

• Additional Notes:

  • • Please review the online schedule before calling to add a time in the cage.

    • Pitching machines are not available for batting cages.

    • Requests will be filled in the order in which they are received. PRCR staff will respond to emails to confirm the time, or to inform the coach that the time is not available.

    • Shaded spaces are unavailable.

    • Additional weeks may be viewed by following the links at the bottom of the schedule.

    • Please notify the department of any cancelled cage time.

    • Bond #3 field reservations do not include the cage.

    • Athletic Weather Cancellation Line: (919) 319-4500 or http://games.townofcarync.gov/. 

    • If activities on Bond #3 are cancelled due to weather the Bond #3 batting cage will not be available.
