Mentoring student research is one of my very favorite parts of my job! I do this in the seminar courses, but also as part of my own research.
I typically employ a few students each semester to help me with various research tasks.
I do not have any open research assistant positions for 2024.
I mentor a group of students who started a club for economics students, whether or not they intend to be/are economics majors.
Students from all backgrounds are welcome, but the club was founded with the intention of creating spaces to gather for students who are members of under-represented groups in economics (women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, first-gen, etc.).
The students have set up a mentoring program for economics students. If you're interested, let me know and I'll put you in touch with them! link
