2018 Frostbite Regatta – October 20th.

Classes: All boats welcome. Four boats in the same class make a fleet. All others sail in an appropriate handicap fleet.

Rules: The ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing 2017-2020 under (section. 2 rules) as adopted and amended by US SAILING, CSSA Sailing Instructions and the Local Appendix will govern races. A boat entering as a member of a class must conform to class rules.

Safety: Standard safety equipment required including throwables and signaling device (16ft+ boats).

Scoring: Low point system:

1 for 1st, 2 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd, etc.

DNF= # of finishers in fleet +1 point

DNS= # of entries in fleet

DSQ= # of entries in fleet + 1 point

Boats must have a sail number to be scored.

Handicapping: Current US SAILING Portsmouth System. Skippers should verify that a US SAILING Portsmouth D-PN number has been established for their boat.

Trophies: 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place in each fleet. Plus special awards.

Housing: Free camping at Club with bathhouse. Hotels in Wagoner or Muskogee.

Facilities: Clubhouse, modern bathhouse, boat ramp, ample parking, mast-raising device, tie-up dock and slips available at no cost.

Food & Drink: Buy Saturday dinner. $15.00 Barbeque Brisket, chicken and Beer.

Entry Fees and Costs: $25.00 per boat. CSSA annual membership required for skippers (available at registration).

Junior sailors (17 and under) sail for free. $5.00 discount for US SAILING members must show card.

Saturday dinners are $15.00 each and can be purchased at registration.

Directions: From Tulsa, take US 51 East to Wagoner. Take US 69 South 1 mile, turn left at light onto SE 15^th St, go approx. 2 miles to “T” intersection. Turn right (south) on US 16, go approx. 4 miles to Gray Oaks Rd.(E 100^th St N) There is a sign here for Sequoyah Bay State Park. Turn left (east) and go to 2^nd stop sign. Turn left and follow road to Jackson Bay. See map on next page.

Registration: Advance registration is not required.
