TLC is a private, non-profit child care program that operates under the supervision of a Director and Governing Board.
Our primary goal is to serve children and families of the community by offering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children between the ages of 2 months and 11 years.
PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy of TLC is based first and foremost on the belief that each child is a unique individual. We believe that providing developmentally appropriate programs that focus on the process of learning, help children enjoy positive successful experiences and enhance the formation of a positive self-image is crucial in early years. By creating environments that are safe, clean, healthy, and child-oriented, children can learn, grow, and thrive in a joyful environment where every child is known, loved, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
ENROLLMENT/HOURS
TLC is licensed by the State of Idaho to care for up to 140 children. We offer full-time and part-time programs for children of all ages. For toddlers and preschool-aged children, part-time care is defined as attendance of three days or fewer per week. For grade school age children, part-time is defined as four days or fewer per week.
TLC is open year-round, Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–6:15 p.m., except for scheduled holidays
