TLC is a private, non-profit child care program that operates under the supervision of a Director and Governing Board.
Our primary goal is to serve children and families of the community by offering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children between the ages of 12 months and 11 years.
PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy of TLC is based first and foremost on the belief that each child is a unique individual. We believe that providing developmentally appropriate programs that focus on the process of learning, help children enjoy positive successful experiences and enhance the formation of a positive self-image is crucial in early years. By creating environments that are safe, clean, healthy, and child-oriented, children can learn, grow, and thrive in a joyful environment where every child is known, loved, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
ENROLLMENT/HOURS
TLC is licensed by the State of Idaho to care for up to 140 children. We offer full-time and part-time programs for children of all ages. For toddlers and preschool-aged children, part-time care is defined as attendance of three days or fewer per week. For grade school age children, part-time is defined as four days or fewer per week.
TLC is open year-round, Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–6:15 p.m., except for Federal Holidays, two days at Thanksgiving, three days at Christmas, and the Friday before Easter.
