Adequacy

The adequacy of flight simulator is the adjacency of simulator behavior to real aircraft, which defines quality of pilots training. The reconstructed software was tested for adequacy using quantitative and qualitative estimations.

The quantitative estimation was carried out by such ways:

• • points comparison - comparison of values of the calculated parameters of the recovered models with reference points in simulator documentation;

  • interval comparison - comparison of the calculated characteristics with characteristics which are acquired from airplane documentation (flight guidance, technical operation guidance, the description of the plant system and avionics, data of flight record system).

The quality estimation is carried out by experts - pilots.
