Its a memorable day for me. Today JU teachers community elected me Syndicate Member for the next two years from the Assistant Professor category. I won the election by 43 votes; highest difference in this election this year. I am so grateful to the JU community. I want to do good for this wonderful community. 

[May 16, 2010] Two of my meritorious but poor students have been confirmed EXIM Bank scholarship today. Its a nice news for me coz i was involved in selecting these students to forward. While lots of people just select students based on their own judgment and opinions, i interviewed students twice, checked their profile and finally could select the two most deserving folks. 

I sometimes wonder why people behave whimsically when they are given a duty where they must be impartial, because it is all about someone's fate. Almighty gave no one of us right to play with the fate of others!

[May 15, 2010] Weekend is over. just one as week end is really rude to the teachers in this university. in one day its very difficult to prepare for the next day lecturer after doing the minimum social interactions. i don't know when the university authority will feel this!!

[May 13, 2010] Just finished the semester end viva voce and with this first semester, first year, first batch, Department of Finance & Banking comes to the end. it was a horrible day and since morning i have been working. hope the second semester would be relaxing for me. lots of works i did in this semester.
