How much float will we need?
I supply a £200.00 float, but if you are expecting more than 100 people, you will need to provide a further £60.00 (in £1.00 coins) per. 100 or part of 100 people. Most people will pay with notes – remember, and everybody will probably go to the cash point before coming along to the night.
Will you provide the Race Cards?
If you dont change the horses names, yes we will supply the race cards. If you do change the hores names, we provide you with a template to print your own.

Yes, we will send you posters to advertise your race night if requested - these will be sent in digital form.
Are Race Nights Legal?
Yes, as long as it is being held for a legitimate cause, see below for the details.
The Gambling Act 2005
A race night is an event where participants stake money on the outcome of recorded races. The money raised from the event is called "the proceeds"
After deducting any reasonable costs, the proceeds must:
• Be given to a good cause
• Must not be used for private gain
Reasonable costs include any costs reasonably incurred e.g., prizes, betting tickets etc.
If third parties are selling goods or services at your event - for example, if someone is selling refreshments - this does not count as money raised for the good cause, and can be retained by the third party.
Will you want any of the Tote Money?
No, absolutely not. Unlike many Race Night Operators, we work on a Fixed Fee Basis, What we Quote is what you Pay.
Will you provide all the technical equipment?
We will provide a high quality PA system and Projector and screen, (Multiple projectors and screens available if the room requires them.) The computer tote system race cards, not forgetting the races themselves. We always come prepared with background music to play in-between races, and an on screen stand-up Bingo if required at no extra cost!
How much notice is required in advance?
The more the better! - The more time you have to organise your race night, the more people will attend and the more funds you can raise for your charity. We do get many advance bookings and so don't delay, book today! Please note, dates are not confirmed until a deposit has been received.
And Last of all, who are Tic-Tac Men?
Tic-Tac men signal to their principals in their picturesque and mysterious manner.
By laying-off heavy bets among the book-makers they help to even up the betting in the various rings, and are also used by the “Blower” agencies to distribute money coming in from the Starting Price offices in London and elsewhere. The method is also used by press agencies for conveying rapid messages.
