The event as its name suggests is pure Red Dirt Music blend. The Red Dirt Festival first started to surface in 2015 with more or so 5,000 music fans attending their debut 2-day event. Red Dirt is basically the color of the soil found in Oklahoma and Texas, the places that produced country music legends like Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson and are home to genres like Americana, folk and alt-country. Some might say that Red dirt is another version of country music with a little excess of attitude and some say that it is a state of mind, a sound somewhere between rock and country.

However we may define Red Dirt, its fans are devoted and always delighted given a chance to enjoy their favorite music.

The first night of the festival features the performance from Scooter Brown Band. Scott Brown after 4 long years of services in marine decided to exchange his guns for guitar and started for a career in music. The Scooter Brown Band was made back in 2015 but it was not till they debuted their album "Between Hell & Texas," that they started gaining popularity before then they were mainly playing in general area of Houston, Texas.

Troy Cartwright and Brock Finn are also going to be present for the Friday night’s show.

As for the second night, Casey Donahew, Chancey Williams and the Younger Brother’s Band, and Chris Colston are in the list for the full night of music. Case Donahew has made quite a name for himself over some course of years which has earned him a wide-range of loyal fans who faithfully march in to every single of his live performances.

On the other hand, Chancey Williams and the Younger Brother’ Band has built an incredibly large fan base touring all over Western United States for more than a dozen times. Texas was yet to see such an enormous number of fans after Chris LeDoux times. The band is extremely talented and have performed on stage with artists like Miranda Lambert, Brantley Gilbert, Thompson Square and many others.

Shafting the gears to Chris Colston, the East Texas native rising star who has topped the Texas music scene with this latest album “Gone” release. The title song has earned more than 200,000 streams on Spotify in just 3 months making Colston the most wanted upcoming artist of the time.
