California Roots Music and Arts Festival 2018
This year’s California Roots Music & Arts Festival is the ninth edition to its events that are displayed every year in May. This year this event will be taking place at Monterey County Fair and Event Center in Monterey, California on May 25th to 28th.
Festival’s Co-Producer Dan Sheehan said “Our first-round of 2018 artists definitely is a statement on how far our scene has grown. Returning and established artists like Slightly Stoopid and 311 continue to release next level music, while building fans from generation to generation. Artists who we believed in early on are now receiving GRAMMY nominations including J Boog and Raging Fyah and international stars including Steel Pulse and Alpha Blondy will bring their global vibes to Cali Roots. We also have some returning fan favorites with Chronixx, Mike Love, Hirie, The Holdup, and New Kingston together with artists making their Cali Roots debut like Sammy Johnson and The Ries Brothers,” he also added that “With more artist announcements to come, I can’t wait to share what we have in store for our fans in 2018.”
The First lineup of the California Roots Music & Art Festival has been announced by its organizers in which Slightly Stoopid, 311 and J Boog will be featured of headlining performances other than these Steel Pulse, Chronixx, Alpha Blondy, Mike Love and Hirie are also named to be performing at this year’s Festival.
