Texas Economic Theory Camp 2019

TEXAS ECONOMIC THEORY CAMP

November 16-17, 2019

The eighth Texas Economic Theory Camp will be held at the University of Texas at Austin on November 16 and 17, 2019.

The purpose of the camp is to foster greater interaction among researchers working in pure and applied economic theory in Texas, and to provide a forum for scholars to present their current research. It is expected that a large fraction of presenters will be junior faculty and PhD students.

PROGRAM

Keynote Lecture: Mike Peters, University of British Columbia.

Each participating institution will nominate up to three speakers (faculty and PhD students). The choice of speakers will be determined by the participating institution. Any paper (including work in progress) with significant theoretical content (independent of the area of application) is welcome.

The camp will begin just after noon on Saturday, November 16, and end on the afternoon of Sunday, November 17. The program will include a dinner for camp participants on Saturday evening.
