History of The Wolf Rock Band - how we came to be ...

Our founding member Dave (Buffalo Dave) grew up in a musical family and has been playing music and composing music his entire life.

Dave has picked up many instruments along the way but was especially busy playing bass with many different people and groups on many different types of music. Some compliments to note: "You really play a funky bass for a white guy" ... well Dave is mostly white and does love slappin' the bass. While Dave was rehearsing for a show onetime with Carmine Appice, after Dave did a bass solo, somebody came running up to the stage and gave Dave all kinds of compliments - Dave said thanks, had a pleasant conversation, and shared some information about his gear with this guy not knowing at the time that this was Jack Bruce who played with the band Cream.

Dave continued to play music with different groups, but started doing some other things for awhile. Then Dave got back into music more.

Dave was recordings some music for fun - some of it with his daughter. At the time Dave had a very fast dog and decided to name the band for her The Wolf -- well she may not look like a wolf but she was very cute and his daughter liked the name and Dave thought it was funny!
