Hello students!
Yes, it's true that I do not offer extra credit in class. However, one way to get extra credit is to go above and beyond in your work. Impress me, and I might add a few extra points that weren't there before.
However, there is one SECRET way to get extra credit from time to time. How? By checking this website. I, very occasionally, post extra credit assignments on here related to what we are doing in class...
And today is one of those days!
RULES:
1. You are to NEVER EVER NEVER NEVER tell a single soul about this extra credit. If I find out at any point in the semester that you've been telling your friends about the extra credit assignment so you can help them out, then I will turn all the extra credit assignments you turned in to ZEROES and all of your friends as well. So, keep it to yourself. This is always a check on how many people are actually checking the website.
2. Always offer your best to the assignment. All extra credits are all or nothing. If you barely try and turn it in, it's a zero. I need to see the effort.
3. When you come in with your extra credit, you are to NEVER tell me or anyone else. Just casually go to the Turn in Bins during class and put it into your class's Turn in Bin. LET NO ONE SUSPECT what you are turning in!
4. Do not ask me how much credit it's worth. When I offer something like this, make a choice on whether you really want to do it or not regardless of the points.
Now, for the Extra Credit Assignment:
1. Find 3 pictures of America during the Great Depression. Print them out and annotate them using the reference guide for Visuals.
2. Explain what you've learned about the Great Depression from the visuals.
DUE DATE: September 8, 2017 (during your class period) - Yup, you get one day.
