Coastline Exhibition

We are exhibiting our collectcion of coastal photography again, this time in Tayport Cafe.

We want to share our vision of the amazing diversity of rocks, minerals, landforms and seascapes, as well as plant and animal life, to be found on the beaches and shores of Fife and Angus. We hope to reflect this diversity in our photography.

The St Andrews Photographers all live in North East Fife and between us have many years of photographic experience, have exhibited widely, and also won several awards at national and international levels.

Stan Farrow, one of the group said, “As photographers, we try to record what catches our eye. The textures, colours, shapes, and forms of the landscape are constantly transformed by the changing light. Often the mundane can be magically transformed into the sublime in the blink of an eye, or the click of a shutter button.”

This is a small exhibition, but the range of photographic styles and viewpoints is varied. Between the members of the group we have gone a long way to capturing something of the great beauty of our Angus and Fife Coastline.

The exhibition runs throughout September (open Monday-Saturday 09:30 - 16:00 & Sunday 11:00 - 16:00). Go along and enjoy some coffee and cake, or your lunch!
