Today's sixth graders, 12-year-olds more-or-less, will leave secondary education between 2017 and 2019 - depending on home nation. That will be a world of education and employment opportunities we can only dimly imagine now.

We do know that our students will need to work globally, whatever their jobs may be. Their "bosses" may be on different continents, in different time zones. They will need to craft their own work spaces and often schedules. They will need to translate between languages and cultures. They will all need to be writers, creators, editors, and distributors, as well as curators of information.
