Google Play (G+)

The first time you load it will prompt you to create a Gamer ID. Click "Next".

NOTE: If you already have a Google Play Games Gamer ID, then you can skip Forward to the next section.

Create a Gamer ID and click "Sign In".

Hooray! That's done!

Now, let's set up your Google+ Profile.

(Google+ is the service you use to find and add people to your friends in Google Play Games.)

Open the Google+ app.

The first time you load it it will show some random "hot on google+" posts and other stuff.

You'll want to click the Round Pencil button in the bottom right corner.

This will take you to the "Create a Profile" page.

NOTE: If it takes you to a "Write something" page instead, you ALREADY HAVE A PROFILE and you can skip forward to the "Connecting Your Sims FreePlay to Google Play Games" Section!

On the "Create a Profile" page, fill in the information requested and click "Create"

Connecting Your Sims FreePlay to Google Play Games.

(This allows your game to access from Play Games, the people that you add through Google+)

Open The Sims FreePlay

Press the Settings button. (The green button with 3 white dots)

Then click on the blue Keyhole button.

Click on the "Log In" button under "Google Play"

This will ask you to allow The Sims FreePlay to access your Google Play Games account. Click "Allow"

Adding People to your Sims FreePlay Neighbours.

(Yes, We've finally finished all the initial setup!, Now it's time to add as many people as you want!)

Open the Google+ app.

Click the Search button at the Top Right.

Type in your search "The Sims FreePlay"

It will give you results for Collections, Communities, People and Pages. The people you will want to add are in the Communities.

So, click on one of the Communities.

(Or, Just go to my Spam-Free Sims FreePlay Community: The Sims FreePlay Community on Google+ )

Join the Community (Optional)

At the top, you'll see some circular icons of Community Members, Click on them.

This will take you to the Members List.

Most Sims FreePlay players on Google+ have already linked their accounts, so click on one of the members and it will load their profile.

Now you're on their Profile, Long-Press the "Follow" button.

This will give you a "Choose a circle" menu. (Basically, Circles are groups that you can use to help sort out your friends list)

You can add the person to any circle and it will work, but for this example, let's create a new circle just for Sims FreePlay players.

Click "Create a new circle".

Give your new circle a name then click "Create". (I'm calling mine "Sims Players")

The person has now been added to the new circle.

(To add more people, Go to their profile, Long-Press on the "Follow" button, and simply select your Sims Players circle for all following friends.) - (While you're at it, add me: +DanielFitzgerald )

Important Note: Due to the Unique way that Google+ works, the other person does NOT need to add you back for you to be neighbours.

Hooray! That's Done! You've successfully added a neighbour to your town!

OPTIONAL: You can see the players you've added in Google Play Games.

Open the Google Play Games app.

Click the Options button at the top left. (Looks like 3 bars)

A Menu will open. In it, Click the "Players" button.

Click the "Following" tab

This will show you the players you have friended!

▶ How do I remove or delete a Neighbour?

To delete a neighbour you just need to remove them from your circles on Google+.

▶ My neighbours can’t see an Item, Object, Sim, or even a Building in my town, why is that?

If you make any changes to your town, you need to upload your gamesave to "The Cloud" for your neighbours to see it.

To do this, Click the settings button. (The Green Button with the 3 white dots).

Then click on the Blue Cloud button.

Click the green "Upload Save Data" button.

Then select "Yes".

It will then tell you that it was successful.

Now when your friends view your town, they will see that missing Item, Object, Sim or Building!
