I met Ben years ago while he was an ambient transient. We sabatoged a high school homecoming pep rally, flew from the flying trapeze at an abandoned circus and sang the blues to the bio luminescence in the Gulf of Mexico. Ben's Music and art is for those who are enthusiastic about the universe.

Charlotte is a jazz and classical piano player and was one of the first musicians I started playing with when I moved to Seattle. She recently moved to Montana and is spearheading the jazz scene in rural America.

Fae and Grant are two of my closest friends from college. Fae is an amazing singer and violin player, Grant is a great drummer that I played with during my time in the UF music program. They were members of the Florida regional band, Flatland. Now based in Oakland, they make music under the moniker Animal Prince.

Remy and I met by chance several years ago at the ::Beaver Sessions::. Since then, we have been playing regularly around Seattle. Remy is a UW graduate and a member of several local bands.

Ev Stern runs a jazz workshop in Seattle in the neighborhood of Maple Leaf. He has been a friend and a bass mentor for me since I moved to Seattle. His workshop is where I met a good portion of the people with whom I play, and is the namesake to my first Seattle group "The Workshop".

James Sloan is a Seattle Musician and Physics Teacher. This is a link to his personal projects, The Purples, although he is also a part of a powerhouse Seattle Funk Band called ::Circular Reasoning::.

Kristian is one of my first friends in Seattle. An excellent Bass Player in addition, Kristian makes fantastical paintings under the name Honeycomb Winnie.

Brendan recently graduated from UW and is now traveling the world on an illustrious grant that allows him to experience other cultures in order to influence his already amazing music and personal endeavors

Jeremy is an immensely intense drummer and a creative force. He makes episodes of a show called Jeremy's world featuring Seattle Musicians couched a fantastically creative environment.

A handful of blocks from my house is one of the best jazz jam sessions in Seattle. Normally featuring Max Holmberg, Cole Shuester, and Greg Fiengold, this session often attracts the best of local talent.

Breaks & Swells are the Seattle embodiment of soul revival. Imagine a nine-piece group, complete with horns and aux percussion. Think soul. Think funk. In collaboration since 2012, they're burning like a heat wave, getting down with nasty grooves and skunky funk, making even the most stoic of hipsters dance and boogie.

In Gainesville, I was friends with a very inspiring musician, thinker, artist named Murphy. This is his current project of building a boat and creating an instructional video series.
