The nationality points according to the scientists education (Alma mater) are as follows (Alma mater may be disputed):

Colleges and Schools have been recorded under the university (e.g. Trinity College Cambridge is recorded under University of Cambridge), while campuses in a state university are recorded separately (e.g. UC Berkeley, University of Madison-Wisconsin)

Not surprisingly are the amateurs (autodidacts)  in the top position.

(Amateur comes from Latin amatorem (nominative amator) "lover," agent noun from amatus, past participle of amare "to love").

Amateurs are deeply committed to their work in contradiction to the modern research prositutes who perform at the lowest level for the most money.
