Biography of Elder Landy G. Void

Elder Landy G. Void received and accepted his call to ministry in 1977.   He preached his initial sermon in Sanford, NC while affiliated with Rescue Temple Church of God in Christ.  

Elder Landy G. Void was called to serve as Interim Pastor of Shiloh Holiness Church in Durham, North Carolina in January 1989.  He was installed as the Pastor of Shiloh Holiness Church with Ordination and Installation services on July 9, 1989.   As a visionary, Elder Void following the leading of God, ‘wrote the vision, and made it plain.  In 1994 corporation papers were filed for The New Shiloh Holiness Church and land was purchased at 2507 South Alston Ave.  Elder Landy G. Void is the founder and Pastor of The New Shiloh Holiness Church.

Elder Void received Bible/Leadership Training from COGIC.

Elder Void is a recording artist and member of The Void Brothers and they are well known for their recordings “Something to Shout About” and “Standing on the Promise”.

He received an Honorable Discharge from the Armed Forces of the United States of America on Feb 3, 1977.    He is a graduate of Public Safety Academy, City of Durham, NC in May 1980.   He has received certificates from the State of North Carolina Department of Justice, North Carolina Justice Academy and North Carolina Department of Community Colleges and North Carolina Department of Insurance for Fire and Rescue Training in 1980.   

Elder Void has been married to Sandra Hart Void for 50 years and they reside in Pittsboro, NC.   They are blessed with three children, one son-in law, and one daughter-in law and nine grandchildren and one great grandson.  

Elder Void is an anointed preacher and acknowledges, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
