(Mayflower, White, p. 1). A later entry in 1651, Bradford mentions "Mr. White and his two servants died soon after their landing." (Mayflower, White, p. 1).
"William and Susanna White left England with son Resolved. At Cape Cod, on November 11, 1620 according to the old calendar, William was one of the forty-one signers of the Mayflower Compact. Two to three weeks later son Peregrine was born, the first English birth in Plymouth Colony, Susanna was widowed in February. She became the first colony bride in May marrying Edward Winslow, a Mayflower passenger who had lost his wife a few weeks before. At least five children were born to Susanna and Edward Winslow." (Mayflower, White, p. 1)
A read of the Mayflower Families Through Five Generations (Vol. 13: William White) Third Edition, helps to give a summary of the different hypotheses on William White and Susanna's progenitors. There are several assumptions but currently no documented connections.
The Winslow family removed to Marshfield, Plymouth, MA, then called Green Harbor, about 1638.

(Hanover, p. 24)
"Hanover's first selectman James Hatch was buried on his homestead farm on the west side of Center St., late the farm of Albert White. Dwelley reported that Cornelius White purchased the Hatch homestead in the early nineteenth century and requested that the town of Hanover take possession of the burial ground, but no action was taken and the ground was eventually ploughed. "It is said that Benjamin fell in love with Miss Hannah Decrow, who was a young lady of powerful build and great beauty, but who was not considered good enough for the son of an opulent shipbuilder and ferryman. This young Ben appears to have been a favorite with his father, and was threatened with banishment if he persisted in his attentions to Miss Decrow. The young man married her, and it is said that, true to his word, his father banished him to Hanover. This was about 1743, when Mt. White, Sr., purchased of Jeremiah and Walter Hatch many hundred acres of heavy timber land on what is now Center street, the old habitation being on the spot now owned by Frank Fish. Mr. White, St. gave him this valuable tract of territory, started hi in housekeeping in great style for those days, and gave him also a horse, two cows, a yoke of oxen, and a gundalow, which he kept at North river bridge. Mrs. White was resolute, God-fearing woman, and, in opposition to her more worldly companion, she was bound to have her children baptized in the true faith, as we find by the church records of Rev. Benjamin Bass, dated September 7 1754., ' "were baptized four children of Benjamin White (his wife owning the covenant), Penniah, Robert, Hannah, and Benjamin (the father's name) who was not considered in the baptism of the children." (Ancestral, p. 126)
There is a reference that Benjamin lived in his father's home. The actual documentation for this information is not noted.
