The Mayflower Families Through Five Generations, George Soule, discusses how the age of George Soule has been determined. His estimated birth falls between years 1593 to 1600. These dates are based on the signing of the Mayflower Compact and his death. To be a signer he would have to be at least 20 years old. His death date is estimated to before 22 January 1679 based the inventory taken by Thomas Delano and Edward Southworth.

• His marriage is also an estimated date. Mary Bucket (Becket) did not come to Plymouth until just before 31 July 1623 on the vessel the Anne. Her line has not officially been authenticated at this time.
• There has been extensive research into one or two possible family lines for George Soule. At this time, George's parents have not been authenticated.
• It is assumed that George joined the travelers in London. George was a servant of Edward Winslow. He was one of the signers of the Mayflower Compact.
• In 1623 George received an acre of land. He was "one of the 58 "Purchasers or Old Comers" who assumed Plymouth Colony's debt to "The Adventurers" the promoters and capitalists who financed the voyage of the Mayflower" and other expenses of the colony.
• In 1637, he volunteered to fight in the war against the Pequot Indians in the Connecticut Valley.
• He was granted land at Powder Point in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA. Later he had lands at Dartmouth, Middleborough, Marshfield, and Bridgewater.
• George Soule served at the General court as one of two Deputies (Representatives) from Duxbury. He served every other year due to the term that there was no right to succession for the position.
• George served as representative to the Plymouth Colony General Court. He also served as jurist for the Colony, a member of the Grand Inquest, and on one committee to "draw up an order concerning disorderly drinking and tobacco."
• George died in 1679 as did Mary. They are buried at the Standish Cemetery in Duxbury.

George Soule Will THE WILL AND INVENTORY OF GEORGE SOULE. Literally transcribed from the original records, BY GEORGE ERNEST BOWMAN. George Soule died at Duxbury, probably in the month of January, 1680, since his inventory was taken 1 February, 1680 (new style). His wife died at Duxbury, in December 1676.The will and inventory were recorded in the Plymouth Colony Wills and Inventories, Volume IV, Part I, page 52. John Soule had issue with the amount of property assigned to his sister, Patience. George had a codicil added:
