Left - W Beach (Lancashire Landing) 90 years to the day after the Manchester Infantry Brigade landed.
Below - "under fire" on V beach at Cape Helles. The second image is of the beach as it appeared on 25th April 1915, with the grounded SS River Clyde. On-shore troops are visible sheltering under the earth bank (photo IWM).
