Additional Tasks

There are additional tasks that can be staffers complete to help The Lions' Pride, and you can get paid for completing these tasks, but with a disclaimer.

Disclaimer: Before you complete any of the following tasks, you have to sign up on Sign Up Genius and get approval and further direction by Dr. Kasper or the managing editor. If you have any more questions, please visit Sign Up Genius or email the managing editor.

Below are the additional tasks:

• Uploading the old articles or issues onto the website, especially since there are no articles prior to 2016 on the new Lions' Pride website

• Scanning and uploading physical issues archives kept by Sister Dorothy onto the Dropbox, since the Dropbox doesn't have digital archives before 2006 and even certain years like 2007-2009 & 2011-2012 appear to be missing some of the digital archives.

• Searching for the old website and transferring the articles from old website to new website and place these online issues in the Dropbox as well since there were strictly online articles, such as for every other week in 2009, that are old website.

• Verifying for newer articles/issues (from 2016 to present) that these articles that are were in the issues were posted on the website and has the correct writer attached to it.

• Double checking that we are streamlining how we are crediting writers as well as typing the writer in the body of the online article so it's always easy to search for a writer's name for future reference.

• Updating the contact list by verifying that the professor and the contact information is still accurate and up to date and add additional contacts for each section.

• Calling the Saint Leo center locations and ask them for information, such as preferred contacts and social media information, to help build a database/spreadsheet with the collected data.
