Tournament Options for Participants
We offer two types of tournament groups to cater to different goals and interests. Parents can choose the best option for their child based on their aspirations and preferences:
1. Regular (classical) Rating Groups
This group is ideal for players with serious goals, such as advancing to higher competitive levels and participating in prestigious tournaments, such as national championships.
• Game Requirements:
• Players must write down their moves and use a chess clock.
• Each player has 60 minutes on the clock.
• Participants will play 2 games (up to 2 hours per game).
Pre-registration is required.
2. Rapid (Quick) Rating Groups
This group is designed for those who want to enjoy chess in a more relaxed and informal setting, without the need to follow competitive tournament rules.
• Game Requirements:
• Writing down moves is not required.
• Games can be played either without a clock or with a 25-minute time control per player.
• Participants will play 5 or more games.
Whether your child is aiming for competitive success or simply wants to enjoy playing chess, we have a tournament option to match their needs. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or need guidance in choosing the best group for your child.
All students and players will be divided into groups based on their skill level.
Awards
All participants will be rewarded with ribbons, medals, or trophies based on their performance in the tournament.
