Building a Rudder for a king

My friend Walt and fellow kingfisher owner sent me great blue prints of his

original equipment rudder and and the teak wood needed to build this gem

The 1/4 aluminum plate was donated by someone from Craigslist

and my freind John basic built the rudder for me in his wood shop

make sure all is aligned

John came up with cool tiller design for me

the tiller was from a Sunfish but not wide enough

so he custom added a railing

looks great styling

Now cuting out the aluminum rudder

He bravely let me cut some of it nobody was injured

rounding out the egdes making it look pretty
