We are all entering a new "era" of education. You have chosen a virtual method of instruction for a variety of reasons. On my end, there is one consistent point--I assure you that you will get my very best effort, everyday. And I expect that from you.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EXPECTATIONS FOR ALL SCHOLARS:
1) You are ON camera from the start of class to the end.
2) You do NOT use other "things" that might distract your abilities to learn. It's called respect.
And that's it.

If you are a Senior, you are in the Government or Economics class. This is one of those "real life" class experiences. Many of you will live in the United States for your lives and we all will engage with money and investments and costs and such as well. So--there. A "real life" class in High School. Pay attention. This stuff will make your lives better and more rich (pun intended?).
If you are a Junior, you are enrolled in AP American English/Language and Composition. The story of America is a fascinating one. We will divide the year thematically begin with America's beginnings and proceeding all the way to modern times. We will work towards passing the AP Exam at the end of the school year!
If you are a Sophomore, you are in the World History OR AP World History course. World History has a far longer story to tell than US History--and yet, the two will come together as our personal stories today connect beyond these borders. Ancient Greece, Rome and a whole lot more will be covered. If you are taking the AP Course, we will work towards passing the AP Exam at the end of the school year!

Finally, know that I am here for you. I've been teaching for 26 years in TUSD (and 30 overall!) but I still have the vigor and excitement as if it was my first. Can you match my enthusiasm?
