What's the Best Thing About Our Club?

The members of the GRGC love to garden. The members love to share our garden successes and the bounty of our gardens. We participate in an active exchange of ideas and enjoy the opportunity to help other members. 

The members of the GRGC come from Richmond, California and from many of the surrounding East Bay communities as well (thus Greater Richmond).

If you don't enjoy playing in the dirt then don't even think about it.

What We Do

* Usually on the selected weekend of every other month we get together, generally  in our own homes and gardens. We often start with a potluck lunch (it's the best food in town!), and have an enjoyable social hour. Then we gather for a presentation and a discussion of a gardening subject.

* We encourage members to initiate gardening activities and to participate in the activities of our sister organizations like the Richmond Seed Library, SPAWNERS, Urban Tilth, Richmond Trees, California Rare Fruit Growers (CRFG) or any other group that shares our vision of a healthy and egalitarian community.
