"A fantastic ride through some epic scenery, I knew some of the route but there were lots of new sights to see. I really enjoyed the exploration of the landscape and the contrast from the hills to the flat. Great cafe in Leominster (Coffee #1) and a very helpful traffic warden helping my directions back out of town!
The roads were generally quiet, routefinding was fairly straightforward. Having the Dylife climb at the end (I had done it as a perm starting at Machynlleth) was a challenge but I was rewarded with the sight of a starling 'murmuration'. It would be quite good to do it the 'right' way round and have a stop at the Quarry Shop Cafe in Mach.
A friendly local cat saw me off in the morning and met me again at the end!"

"This is my favourite road in Wales (UK). The weather and views on this ride were out of this world and its worth doing the ride for the food in the Great Oak Cafe alone. Must be the best AAA point 200 km ride in Wales.
