Our History

On January 30th, 2003 we lost our grandson Victor to premature complications. The sadness of his death and the anguish of our daughter and son in-law was devastating to our family. As we grieved, God began to lead us in a direction of hope. We decided to work toward planning a final resting place for other infants. As we pursued this path the cemetery at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church generously donated an unused plot of land that would soon become “The Angel Garden.” For more than two years, a group of members from the church, now known as “The Friends of The Angel Garden”, cleaned the garden, raised donations, and planned for the future. With the help of local funeral directors and hospital, the garden was dedicated on October 16, 2005, in memory of our infants. Because of the help of many, we are able to offer a final resting place to anyone who experiences an infant lost.
