Amazon Rainforest Map

The Amazon Rainforest is located in the upper section of Brazil south of the Equator. The Amazon River is located 2 to 4 degrees south of the Equator. Amazon Rainforest is a Tropical Rainforest instead of a Temperate Rainforest or a Fossil Rainforest. It is a Tropical Rainforest because of the climate and its location near the equator. Amazon Rainforest is very humid and wet so there are lots of places for bugs in Amazon Rainforest! Some insects spread diseases. As you can see, the dark line is the Amazon River which goes through the top of Brazil. Brazil has the most parts of the Amazon Rainforest. Next to the Amazon River there are many native people, tribes, and villages. I know we should stop the destruction of rainforests and not be afraid of it.
