Unrecovered.
Balloon 2 was launched from my house in Dallas. It carried the same payload as Balloon 1. The main difference is that we put much less helium in this one. This allowed the balloon to rise slower, and go to a higher altitude before bursting. The downside is that the balloon will also travel further from the launch site. It traveled for about 4 hours and landed just southwest of Texarcana....about 150 miles away. We tried to retrive it, but it was too remote in some public hunting land.
I got a call from a duck hunter on December 30th who found it floating in a pond while he was hunting. Thanks Rit! As soon as I get it back, I will post the photos.

I got a call from someone else who found the cooler floating in a pond, but he said it was empty. Someone took the equipment out and didn't return it. Its gone for good now.
