• Ms Stephanie Gill (2019 – Present). PhD student, Ulster University. Principal Supervisor. Thesis Title: Ecological impacts of biological and chemical surfactants on aquatic biofilm growth metabolism and carbon cycling.

• Dr Kevin Roche (2014 – 2017). PhD student, Northwestern University (USA). Supervisory team member. Thesis Title: Biofilm controls on fine sediment and solute transport.

• Ms. Alison Dale (2019 – Present). MSc student, Ulster University. Principal Supervisor. Thesis Title: An investigation into the effectiveness of key performance indicators as a tool for managing Biodiversity

• Ms Alison Bennett (2019 – Present). MSc student, Ulster University. Principal Supervisor. Thesis Title: The impacts of recreational disturbance upon beach nesting birds in North East and Eastern England.

• Since 2018 I have supervised six final year honours research projects within Ulster University School of Geography and Environmental Science.

• Whilst at Queen’s University Belfast I supervised one final year honours research project and one Nuffield Scholar’s summer vacation research project. As a PhD student at the University of Aberdeen I supervised two final year honours research projects to completion.
