April 10, 2025 – Ilagan City, Isabela — Representatives from TESDA-Isabela, in partnership with allied agencies, made an official visit to Jeaox Breeding Farm to observe and discuss the province's Corn Silage Production process.
The Jeaox team warmly received the delegation and demonstrated their production workflow, highlighting best practices and future development goals. The visit also focused on strengthening collaboration to foster agricultural innovation across Isabela.
A consultative meeting followed the field tour, where TESDA and partners finalized the framework for corn silage production competency standards aimed at boosting technical skills and aligning with industry demands.
This initiative underscores a united commitment to sustainable agriculture, skills development, and inclusive growth in the region.
TESDA Isabela celebrated Women's Month with a financial management seminar on March 28, 2025, to empower TESDA employees and personnel with the necessary financial literacy skills. Resource speaker Ms. Mary Rose M. Dumpit, Senior Trade Industry Development Specialist, facilitated discussions on budgeting, savings, investments, and debt management, imparting participants with hands-on knowledge for improved financial decision-making.
The interactive session actively involved the audience in relevant discussions, reaffirming the significance of financial independence. Ms. Dumpit was awarded a certificate of appreciation for her useful contributions. TESDA Isabela also valued its employees' efforts by providing complimentary coffee and small token of appreciation.
