• World Language Department Chair

• Created, organized, and led the Spanish Club at my school.

• Student Government Association adviser.

• Provided weekly after-school tutoring for students.

• Volunteered for after-school activities such as games, dances, etc.

• Created and maintainedmy own Spanish class website that provided students homework assignments, vocabulary lists, worksheets/handouts, a calendar, class/school news, helpful links, discussion boards, blogs, wikis, etc.

• Member of the Leadership/School Improvement Team.

• Led content-related field trips with students. (For example, this past year I took my students to see the El Greco to Velazquez exhibition at Nasher Museum of Art. We completed a cross-curricular integration unit in preparation for it.)

• Ceated and maintained the SGA website and Facebook page.

• Created and maintained the Spanish Club website and Facebook page.

• Created a Photojournalism curriculum and taught the elective to middle school IB students.

• Helped to write a multi-million dollar grant to expand the foreign language program at our school which was approved.
