Download the latest XLS version: 1.16.08  ●  Manual for advanced usage  ●  Version history  ●  Wishes, reports and feedbacks

The file you will download includes a sample dataset. Check out the cell contents to see what and how every element or feature can be built up in your KML. For advanced usage, you may need to read the manual.

How can I switch to the new version?

Having downloaded the new version, there are two alternative ways to accomplish this.

1) You can move (a) your data from your old spreadsheet to the new spreadsheet, or (b) your spreadsheet from your old Excel file to the new Excel file.

 a) Just copy your data cells together with the column names from the former and paste them into the latter.

 b) Just move your spreadsheet from the former to the latter. Remember to replace the header rows of your old spreadsheet with those in the sample dataset in the new version.

2) Alternatively, you can replace the scripts of your old spreadsheet with the new one. To do this, replace the header rows of your old spreadsheet with those in the new version. Then, copy the scripts and modules, too. If there is an object that exists in the new version but not in the old file, import all of such objects, as well.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to check out the changes the new version includes. The script-specific column names may have been changed or their contents where more than one feature was combined in the old version may be disintegrated into more than one column in the new version.
