Improving our project document

So far ("hasta ahora") we have done an OpenOffice document with our technical project.

Today we are going to improve ("mejorar") the look.

Each item in this list will give you 1 mark:

    1. Add a header with the name of the project components (Insert -> Header -> Default).
    2. Add a footer with automatic numbering (Insert -> Footer -> Default, then Insert -> Fields -> Page Number).
    3. Add separations between different sections (Insert -> Manual Break -> Page Break).
    4. Unify the look of all first level headings using the style "Heading 1".
    5. Apply the style "Heading 2" to the second level.
    6. Apply the style "Heading 3" to the third level.
    7. Modify the styles to match the following:
      • "Heading 1" should be Arial 175% with upper and lower lines and dark blue letters on light blue background,
      • "Heading 2" Arial 16 blue with underline and bold
      • "Heading 3" Arial 12 bold blue also, no underline.
    8. Generate a table of contents on the first page (Insert -> Indexes and Tables -> Indexes and Tables).
    9. Create a cover on the front page with
      1. project title,
      2. your name and reference group (1 º A, B or C) and
      3. the start and finishing date.
    10. Use the spellcheck to see if there are any misspelt words.

Then, save the document and send as an e-mail attachment 5 minutes before the end of the class.
