Paul Rudd has always been the object of our affection and clearly audiences around the world aren't clueless about him and his talents anymore.

While reviews of the Queen biopic were mixed at best, with many critics accusing the film of being too antiseptic, conventional, or cliched to be as dynamic and revolutionary as you'd expect from a film profiling one of the most original bands and legendary frontmen of all time, audiences tuned out the noise. Theatregoers turned out in droves, making "Bohemian Rhapsody" the highest-grossing biopic of all time with box office receipts totalling more than $600 million worldwide. We are the champions, indeed.

Everybody's favourite foul-mouthed sarcastic super anti-hero returned to theatres in 2018 and his hilariously offensive fourth wall-breaking shenanigans charmed audiences, critics, and Celine Dion, pulling in more than $730 million worldwide. You can buy a lot of Nickelback albums with that money.

Wakanda forever. Not only did "Black Panther" make history by being the first superhero movie to feature a predominantly black cast, the movie was a critical darling and box office blockbuster. The Marvel movie opened huge, grossing more than $200 million its opening weekend, making it the biggest opening by a black filmmaker. "Black Panther" rounded out 2018 as the highest-grossing movie in North America and the second-highest earner at the world box office, pulling in more than $1 billion.

"Avengers: Infinity War" roared into theatres in the Spring and immediately broke the record for biggest domestic opening weekend so its not a huge surprise that it would go on to be the highest-grossing movie at worldwide box offices in 2018, pulling in more than $2 billion. Clearly audiences still have a healthy appetite for superhero movies.
