In my future as a teacher I want to work and grow on classroom management and responsive classroom training. I want to work on new and different techniques that will grab my students attention during transitions between activities and in the lessons that will help keep them focus and engaged. I want to make sure that all of my work is student based and meets my students needs. I have met my students needs in the past by placing them in small groups with students that are at the same pace as their own needs and working up from there. However I want to focus on meeting those some needs in a whole group setting. Responsive classroom training that I have implemented in the past has been morning and closing meeting circle, the take a break strategy, and modeling at the beginning of the year for expectations in the classroom. However I want to hone in on the language of responsive classroom training and fine tuning all those techniques that they talk about in the book.
