Here are some of the resources I have created to help my ESOL Maths learners, which I hope you will find useful. They are listed in alphabetical order with answers as a sub-page if needed.
If you would like to contribute to this part of the site please send copies to my email at stillknitting@gmail.com and I will consider adding them, suitably referenced of course!
There is an excellent six page summary of the challenges facing many ESOL learners when learning maths on the NCETM website:

Tips for matching activities: some of these for algebra are designed for GCSE learners; it is a good idea, if you have the resources, to print these out, laminate them, then cut out and put into poly-pockets or plastic wallets, ready to hand out. I like learners to use these in pairs or threes, but not all learners will want a team effort and will be happier working on their own.
This site is a bit weird- sometimes you need to click on the arrow, and sometimes on the name of the resource. This is what happens when you pay very little for a site!
Enjoy :D
