The evidence you collect should demonstrate your skill and expertise at your professional learning and professional teaching goals as well as each standard. I recommend that teachers start collecting evidence in a chart like the one below at the beginning of the school year or even during summer prep months. Each system will have specific details related to this as outlined in contract language. In general though, your evidence should tell the story of your good work with detail. The evidence collection profits from a summary statement both at the time of the formative and summative assessment that helps evaluators see the important details and efforts illustrated in the evidence.
