This is my twenty-sixth year teaching in GGUSD. I spent the first fifteen years teaching grades K-6 at Patton in both GATE and regular education classrooms. This is my eleventh year at Bell teaching English. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UCI and have also earned a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University. Not only do I love teaching at Bell, but I love teaching Jr. High in general. This is an important and exciting time for students as they are learning new things about life and themselves in these crucial years.
Not only does teaching keep me busy, but I also have a busy family life too! I have a wonderful daughter who is 21 this year and two stepsons who are in 12th grade and a college junior who plays baseball at Cal State San Bernardino. Between their school and extracurricular activities and teaching, there isn't a lot of extra time. As you can see by the pictures, I enjoy spending time with my family and my husband and I enjoy going to watch USC football games whenever we can so he can cheer on and support the school where he earned his degree!
Of all the things I enjoy, my most favorite thing is to see my former students and hear about their accomplishments. I love teaching in this community because I often get to see how my former students have grown into fine young ladies and gentlemen.
