Teacher and Admin Events are opportunities for students to spend time outside of the regular school day with their favorite TCGIS staff members, doing a wide variety of fun activities.
Previous Events Include:
- Art Museum Tour
- After-School Classroom Parties
- Bowling, Movie or Pizza Nights
- Star Wars Party
- Bike Trip & Picnic
- Scavenger Hunt
- School Sleepover and Lock-in
- Pi[e] Day Party on 3.14
- Bingo
- Sports Party
- Brez'n Baking with the interns
- German survival lessons
- Mad scientists in the lab
- Karnival
- Wii games on the big screen
- Reuse ideas
Here are some other ideas:
- Movie parties
- Scavenger hunts
- Book exchange
- Museum Trip
- Photo scavenger hunt (give kiddos themes they must hunt for in the pictures they take - something blue, something bumpy, something in the shape of an "A", etc.)
- Nature walk in Como Park
Events can be scheduled starting November 8 through the summer of 2019. Please check the school calendar when picking a date for your event and consider teacher work days, long weekends, holidays, and school-wide activities (such as the Carnival of Cultures in years past).
