About Me:

My research examines how information, incentives, and institutional rules shape behavior in markets characterized by strategic interaction and imperfect information. I approach these questions using both applied empirical methods and economic theory, with two primary areas of application: financial markets and cybersecurity. My financial research studies consumer credit, digital assets, decentralized financial intermediation, and market manipulation. My cybersecurity research uses game theory and institutional analysis to study vulnerability disclosure, active cyber defense, and the design of rules governing strategic interaction in digital environments. Across these settings, my work asks how alternative institutions change individual incentives and, ultimately, market outcomes.
