* Please make every effort to come to your lesson at your scheduled time each week.
Consistent and regular lessons are key to your progress!
* You and I are both committing to reserving your weekly lesson time in our schedules. Please let me know as far in advance as possible if you cannot make it to your regularly scheduled lesson, and I will do the same. I try really hard to reschedule missed lessons, but it is not always possible. Let’s plan to continue being flexible with each other!
* If I cancel your lesson for any reason, I will not charge you for it.
* If you must cancel your lesson less than 24 hours before your scheduled time, you will still be charged for your lesson. I really don’t like having to have this policy, but there have been many times I have sat waiting for a student to arrive for a lesson when they just forgot to inform me they wouldn’t be coming. These are my business hours I have set aside to do this work, and with notice I could schedule another student to come at this time or work doing something else.
* Lessons are 30 minutes long, and I use alarms to remind me when that time is up.
* I am happy to try to accommodate short-term lessons that are song- or event-specific--such as preparing a song for Solo/Ensemble Contest, or assisting with music for auditions.
Teaching Hours
My regular teaching hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings between 5:30-8:30pm. (See calendar below)
New Students
I do currently have available lesson slots. Please contact me to discuss scheduling a free trial lesson if you are interested in taking voice or piano lessons.
Summer Lessons
I do teach lessons through the summer, and highly recommend students stay on with lessons as regularly as possible through summer. Also, summer is a great time to try lessons for the first time!
