Interest

• Basketball

For me, basketball is an ideal way to relax. I used to play a lot. 

• Chinese calligraphy

I was born in a traditional Chinese family. My father went to a private school where he was required to write Chinese characters in Maobi(A kind of brush pen). When I was a child, he taught me basic skills in Calligraphy even he was not good at it at all. Writing calligraphy helps in concentration of the task and the appreciation of beauty of subtlety. 

• Ski/Snowbard

That is right, I can do both. 

Skills

• Programming languages: Fortran, C, C++ and Matlab. Commercial Finite Element software including Ansys, Comsol Multiphysics.

• 3D modeling and rendering skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Google Sketchup. MultiMedia developing in Ulead VideoStudio

• Microfabrication training from UT Dallas and UT Arlington with the support from CONTACT travel grant.

• Undergraduate student summer research project mentoring.

• Webpage developing in HTML
