New TAMOC Co-Chairs Elected
Isaac C.H. Yuen, Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University, and Matthew Eiles, Assistant Professor at Purdue University, have been elected as the new chairs of TAMOC following a unanimous vote at the TAMOC Business Meeting held on June 3, 2026.
We would like to thank the members of TAMOC for both the opportunity to serve the community and the support they have provided over the past two years, and wish our new chairs the best of luck in their roles as TAMOC Co-Chairs 2026-2028!
Nikolay Golubev and Jesús Pérez Ríos, TAMOC Co-Chairs, 2024-2026
We are delighted to announce that the first Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Sciences (AMOS) Gateway workshop will be held virtually (via Zoom) on July 23-24, 2026, from 9am - 4pm Eastern Time. Technical talks and tutorials will take place in the morning, with the afternoons reserved for one-on-one support and open-ended discussion. The codes currently hosted on the AMOS Gateway are capable of performing atomic and molecular structure calculations, electron and photon collisions with atoms and molecules, and time-dependent laser-atom and laser-molecule interactions. For more information about the AMOS Gateway, please visit https://amos-gateway.org/. For more details about the currently available codes, see https://amos-gateway.org/code-overview/.
Participation is restricted to researchers holding at minimum a Bachelor's degree and currently affiliated with (enrolled in or employed by) a U.S.-based institution.
