Hello, I am Tiffany Steinmetz, owner of SynerChi Acupuncture. I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM has been practiced over thousands of years and holds ancient wisdom that is now being proven by modern science.
I believe that being healthy and happy doesn’t have to be complicated. I learned form a wise teacher to always keep it simple. This idea stuck with me over the years and has proven to be quite powerful in my practice of Chinese Medicine. The simplicity I speak of starts with self care. When practiced consistently, self care is powerful healthcare. When we take the time to acknowledge the needs of our bodies we can improve our health. Our daily habits, routines and stressors will contribute, and oftentimes be the root cause of our ailments. When we turn our focus to our internal environment, we tune in to things we normally would miss. Things like signs and alarms that our body uses to get our attention. We often ignore these signs because we are too busy, too tired or just plain oblivious. Part of self care is learning to listen to our body.
There are a variety of medicinal approaches and each one has its strengths. I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine because of the many tools it offers to fill my tool box. There is always a way to help you feel better. My job is to figure out what tools are going to do that.
Having studied the human body for nearly 20 years, I have developed a well rounded and in depth knowledge of how the body begins to dysfunction and how to fix it. I believe that a healthy body, mind, and spirit comes from prevention and consistency.
I graduated with a Master of Science degree in TCM from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2012 and have been practicing since 2010. I am a Colorado licensed Acupuncturist, Nationally Board Certified Chinese Herbalist (NCCAOM), and a licensed Massage Therapist since 2003.
