Sylwia Bialek-Gregory, Ph.D. - environmental and energy economics

Welcome to my website and thank you for visiting!

I am the Exective Manager Research and Consulting at Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne (EWI) and an affiliated scholar at the Institute for Policy Integrity, New York University. I also teach classes related to energy economics at University of Cologne. 

My academic work analyzes energy markets and policies using insights from microeconomics, public finance, and industrial organization. I concentrate on issues of market design and on optimal environmental regulation.   

Much of my policy, advisory, and research work relates to wholesale electricity markets, in particular to resource adequacy.
