Our Social Desk, manned by John Carter and David Brand, is open at all meetings for bookings and details of events. To contact us urgently:

In the email or when leaving a telephone message, please state:

1. Your name and mobile telephone number.

2. The event name and date.

3. The number of persons attending.

4. Names and addresses of guests.

5. The amount and method of payment.

Please attend as many outings as you can, we go to considerable trouble to set them up and we hate to cancel. It also means that those members who have booked miss out on the event.

If you wish to make a booking outside a meeting please advise one of us by email. EFT payments go only to the treasurer so you must also advise the social committee. Should you need to contact us urgently, please ring one of us directly any time.

Your spouse and guests are welcome to attend social events. Usually casual dress is appropriate.

All tours are designed to be suitable for senior attendees and require minimal physical effort. Greater than usual steps or walking will be advised.

If you cancel prior to the “cut-off” date your money will be refunded. Cut-off dates are usually 1-2 weeks prior to the event.

Please arrive at the pick-up point at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time, as itineraries often dictate a strictly on-time departure. Our routine City departure point for coaches is:
