Pay Structure

Certified Umpire - $45 per game (U15+)

Certified Umpire - $40 per game (U11 - U13)

Uncertified Umpire - $35 per game

Umpire Clinic

2025 Level 1/ Level 2 Softball Umpire Clinic open to all umpires in SW Saskatchewan.

When: Sat. April 12, 2025

Host: Swift Current Girls Minor Softball

Location: Swift Current - (O. M. Irwin School - 999 George Street East)

Time: 9:30am registration - 10:00am Start

Registration for Umpire Clinic closes April 4, 2025.

If you have previously been certified, you’re not required to take a clinic every year to stay certified. You only need to take a clinic every 2nd year to keep certification. However, you are required to register as an umpire and write the exam each year with Softball Sask to keep your certification provincially.

Registration fee is $40 for anyone under 18. Over 18, it’s $75 for level 1 and $85 for level 2 certification.

For those who are Level 1 umpires and wish to obtain their Level 2 certification there will be an option for that. To be certified Level 2 you must be over 16 years of age and have umpired as a certified Level 1 for at least one year.

If a certified umpire umps 3 games for SCMGS in 2025, they will be reimbursed the cost of the umpire clinic.
