Contact me for a quote! Rates are highly competitive with online editing services. Most papers I have seen mainly require grammar editing and style improvement: I typically charge US $40 per 1,000 words (0.040USD per word). This works out to about $10 for a double-spaced page in a Word document; a page of a LaTeX document (with 1-inch margins and about 600 words) would cost about $24. Simple table captions and formatting are typically $4 per item; I treat these separate from text when calculating word counts. More extensive editing (restructuring or rewriting) can be negotiated, starting at 0.07USD per word/$70 per 1,000 words.
Charges are payable through PayPal (50% down with the remainder due upon completion). I use either “Track Changes” in MS Word or the traditional print/red pen/scan for .pdf or LaTeX files. Turnaround time is three business days for 10,000 words or less.
